Q 1. How do I select a subject to analyze?
Once you are logged in using your unique user name and password, you will find yourself on the Home Page of the OnBuzz Analysis web page
On the Home Page you have the option to select a Subject(s) and Blog(s) to analyze
Once you have made your selections click on the icon
Your data will then be displayed on the Subject Page


Q.What is Add Synonym?
Add Synonym (where applicable) allows you to view two or more subjects in one chart
Q. How do I Add Synonym and then analyze?
On the Home Page of the OnBuzz Analysis, besides selecting Subject box click on the icon (NOTE: you must have subscribed to more than one subject in order to create Add Synonym)
Select the Subjects that you wish to include by highlighting with a click of your mouse in the Your Subject(s) box
Click on the icon to add your subject(s) in the Synonym Subjects box, to the right of the Subject box (NOTE: You also have the option to remove should you decide not to select that particular subject for this analysis, by simply highlighting the subject in the Subject Group box and click on the icon)
Once you have added the subjects you wish to include, type a New Subject (name of your choice) in the field next to the Synonym Name
Click on the icon, you will then be returned to the Home Page, where you can select your New Subject from the drop down menu

Once you have added the subjects you wish to include, type a New Subject (name of your choice) in the field next to the Synonym Name
Select All Blogs or a specific Blog and then click on the icon
Your data will then be analyzed and displayed on the Subject Page
Q.What is a Profile?
A Profile is a demographic attribute (Default is No Profile). On the Subject Page, you have the option to select the following demographics from the drop down menu:

Q.What is the Time Span?
Time Span is a measure of time where the Subject has been mentioned a number of times in the Blog(s) (Default is Monthly ). On the Subject Page, you have the option to select the following from the drop down menu:

Daily
Monthly
Quarterly
Semi-Annually
Annually
  NOTE: The maximum amounts of columns that will be displayed in a chart are 31 from the Start Date.
Q. What are the Start Date and the End Date ?
This allows you to select the specific time frame that you wish to see the overall sentiment in the Blog(s). Default for the Start Date is January 1, 2007 and the default for the End Date is the current date. On the Subject Page , you have the option to change the dates by clicking on the “Calendar” icons and then click on the icon
Q. What are the Chart Types?
There are two chart types either 2 Dimensional (2D) or 3 Dimensional (3D) to view your data in the graphical format. 3D charting also allows you to view the data either as Columns or Stacks.

Q. How do I customize the data to view a chart?
On the Subject Page you have the options to customize Profile, Time Span, Start & End Date and Type of Chart (2D or 3D) at the left panel and then click on the icon to view the results of your customized data
Q. What do these charts represent?
The three charts are Percent Sentiment Score(represents the % responded to the sentiment value of the statements ); Performance Score chart or table (represents the actual sentiment of the statements and the percent sentiment score); and the Number of Mentions (represents the actual number of mentions of the subject in the statements)

Q. How do I change the Subject?
On the Subject Page, clicking the icon will take you to the Home Page and provide you the option to change the Subject (where applicable)
Q. How do I print the data?
On the Subject Page, click on the icon (at the top right corner) and follow the prompts

Q. What is "Export to PowerPoint"?
Clicking on the icon allows you to export the charts into a PowerPoint presentation which can then be saved for future purpose
